"Incident in a Station Buffet"

We hear the sounds of a busy railway station and see three tables in the station buffet.  At one sits two loud-mouthed youths who are discussing their sexual conquests.  At the second sits a middle-aged plain-looking woman who is reflecting on her past life, while at the third there is a well-to-do-woman impatiently flicking through a glossy magazine.  A young man enters carrying a tea tray.  He is looking to meet someone for the first time ... his birth mother
