Set during a harsh East Anglian winter, the play centres on a fisher-man, Peter Grimes, a violent but lonely figure shunned by the community who suspect him of murdering two apprentice boys.  The action moves from seashore to alehouse culminating in a dramatic chase and ending.  Royalties £25pp
