Fred Newman used to be a local government accountant until he had heart problems and was given early retirement. The play finds him alone in a hotel room in Dallas having fled both Britain and his unhappy marriage in order to follow his dream. He meets a Mexican chambermaid who is also fleeing a bad situation and for a while it looks like the two of them may have a future together. Royalties £25pp
