King Henry VIII has clashed with the Pope after he thwarted his desire to get divorced so he has ordered the destruction of all the abbeys and monasteries in England. The play is set in 1539 as two of the King's men arrive at Denny Abbey in Cambridgeshire to carry out the closure. However what they dont bargain for is that the nuns seem to have on their side several ancient ghosts and spectres and one of the enforcers comes to a very nasty end.
